What your players will actually do in-game.

## Opening the booth

Walk up to a booth, look at it, and use the eye-target prompt. The DJ booth UI opens.

If a booth has a job restriction and you don't meet it, the target won't show up for you.

## Queuing music

Open the **Queue** tab and paste any of these:

* A YouTube URL — `https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ`
* A short share URL — `https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ`
* An 11-character video ID — `dQw4w9WgXcQ`

Press Enter or click **Queue** and the track starts broadcasting immediately. Live streams are supported and show a red **Live** badge.

If a track fails to load, it's almost always because the video is region-blocked, age-restricted, or private. Try another.

## Now playing

The top of the panel shows:

* Spinning vinyl with the YouTube thumbnail
* A pulse ring around the vinyl while music is playing
* The song title (auto-fetched — no API key needed)
* A progress bar with timestamps, or a **Live** badge for streams

## Controls

* **Pause / Resume** — for everyone in range.
* **Stop** — clears playback.
* **Volume slider** — sets the broadcast volume for everyone in range.

## History

The **History** tab shows everything that's been queued at this booth during the current server session. Click any track to replay it.

## Closing the UI

Press **Escape** or **Backspace**. The music keeps playing until someone hits **Stop**.

## Hearing the music

Audio is positional. Anyone inside the booth's sound radius can hear it, with volume falling off naturally with distance. The radius is set per-booth by the admin.
