/dj. With ox_target, aim at the booth and pick Open the DJ panel instead.
Queueing music
Paste a link into the queue tab and hit add. Two kinds work:
Titles are resolved on the server, so a queued track shows its real name and nobody can rename it for the room.
Age-restricted, private, region-blocked and embedding-disabled YouTube videos cannot play in an embedded player. Nothing can be done about that from this side — use a different upload.
The deck
Holding the deck
Only one person controls a booth at a time. You take the deck with your first control action, and you lose it when you close the panel, walk away, die, disconnect, or go five minutes without touching anything. Being allowed to DJ and currently holding the deck are different things — see Permissions. How the music follows you
The booth has one or more sound points, each with a radius. The loudest one you’re inside wins.- Walking away fades the music out rather than cutting it.
- Sitting in a sealed car muffles it.
- Being in the same interior as the emitter boosts it slightly.
- Your personal volume slider scales all of it, for you alone.
Effects
The effects tab drives the club lighting rig — moving wash lights, sweeping lasers, ground smoke, sparks and a strobe. Each is individually tunable: mode, colour, intensity, range, speed and count. Eight presets ship: classic club, rave, chill lounge, festival, strobe storm, smoke and lasers, blackout and neon synth. Lighting pulses with the music. For direct media that’s real analysis of the audio; for YouTube the pulse is synthesised at a steady tempo, because the audio can’t be analysed from an embedded player.Soundboard
One-shot SFX layered over the music, not instead of it. Twenty clips across four categories. There’s a short cooldown per player and per clip, so two people can’t machine-gun the same sound. Your server owner has to point these at real files — see Soundboard.Playlists
Save the current queue as a set. Up to 25 playlists per player, 100 tracks each.
Loading a playlist either replaces the queue or appends to it. Every stored track is re-validated when it loads, so a set saved months ago can’t smuggle in a link that’s since been blocked.
Settings
All per-player, all remembered between sessions:- Accent colour
- Panel scale, anchor position, blur, compact mode
- My volume — scales every booth for you alone, without touching anyone else’s playback or the DJ’s mix
- Streamer mode
Streamer mode
For anyone recording or streaming. Toggle it with/djstreamer, from the settings tab, or from the radial menu.
When it’s on:
- Track titles, artwork and URLs are hidden in the panel
- The DJ audio is muted locally, so your recording carries no copyrighted audio
- Soundboard one-shots are suppressed locally too
Masking happens when the panel draws, not in the data. Saving a playlist while streamer mode is on still writes the real track titles.
The radial menu
Standing at a booth adds anox_lib radial submenu with entries for opening the panel, skipping the track, stopping the music and toggling streamer mode.
